A Broadway Romance

The Black Mountain Center for the Arts is thrilled to welcome two of Broadway’s biggest stars to its stage for a one-night-only concert. Kara Lindsay, star of Broadway’s Newsies, Wicked, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will join her husband, Black Mountain native and Broadway veteran of Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Memphis and Tarzan, Kevin Massey, in their original musical cabaret A Broadway Romance on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Charles D. Owen High School auditorium in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

A Broadway Romance artfully tells the tale of Lindsay & Massey’s love story: how it began onstage, and soon blossomed off. Their fascinating history includes music from, and stories involving, Newsies, Wicked, Memphis, Tarzan, Little House on the Prairie, the Musical, as well as many other beloved Broadway and Disney musicals. Lindsay and Massey have performed all across the world, on Broadway and even on the big screen. But, according to the two, their favorite journey began in 2008 when they met in an audition room “pretending to fall in love.” Come let them take you on the journey of how fate, a TV musical and a fair amount of Broadway magic brought together this New York girl and this Black Mountain boy.

Tickets are available here online for $25 ahead or at the door on the day of the show for $30. PLEASE NOTE that the performance will be at Charles D. Owen High School, 99 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain, NC.
